Molten Center Chocolate Fondant


Prep time: 25 mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients:

• 100g dark chocolate

• 80g unsalted butter

• 60g caster sugar

• 2 eggs (100g)

• 30g plain flour

Method:

1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heat-proof bowl over a pan of simmering water.

2. In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.

3. Once fully melted, fold in the chocolate mixture and flour.

4. Pour into greased moulds and bake at 200°C for 8 minutes.

5. Serve immediately whilst the middle is still molten.

Storage:

You can make these ahead of time and store in the fridge or freezer uncooked. They will need 2-4 mins longer in the oven but it’s a good way to ensure less fuss on the day you serve them.
